Hace un par de días hablaba de que la colección de Sonia Rykiel para H&M me parecía más invernal que veraniega, y también posteé una entrada con una editorial de Lara Stone. Aqui retomo los dos temas con esta editorial de Vogue Uk Enero de Lara Stone mostrando unos increíbles vestidos estampados muy veraniegos, que si se compara con el verano anterior en donde debido a la crisis todo era negro y poco ostentoso, este verano parece que viniera con mucho optimismo!!!!
A couple of days ago I wrote about how I felt Sonia Rykiel’s collection for H&M was more winter like than summer like, and I also posted an editorial of the german model Lara Stone. Well, in this editorial featuring Lara Stone, Vogue Uk has made my point! as she appears wearing these unbelievable colorful and printed summer dresses. Compared to last year’s summer where everything was black and not very luxurious due to the world crisis, this summer apears to be very optimistic!

Después del lujoso lanzamiento que tuvo la colección de lencería de la diseñadora francesas Sonia Rykiel para H&M podemos por fín ver las piezas de la colección primavera verano, personalmente me encanta Sonia Rykiel, pero esta colección me parece un poco más invernal que veraniega, a pesar de la carga de color, no se, creo que después de los increíbles estampados de Matthew Williamson el año pasado esto se queda un poco corto.
After the luxurious launching of Sonia Rykiel’s lingerie collection for H&M last year, we finally get a peek at the french designer’s creation for SS 2010, I’m a huge fan of Sonia Rykiel but this collection looks more like winter than summer to me, even with the bright colors and all, I don’t know, I think after the amazing prints we saw last year with Matthew Williamson this just isn’t….summery enough.
Esta editoral de la revista I-D de invierno no es tan actual pero vale la pena reseñarla porque muestra a una mujer real, la modelo Lara Stone, tal y como es, con curvas, dientes separados, y su título de la mujer del año de la Revista Vogue UK.
This Editorial for Winter’s I-D magazine issue is not all that current but it’s worth looking at because it shows an actual REAL woman, the model Lara Stone, who shows herself just as she is with her separated teeth, her curvy body and her «Woman of the year» title granted by Vogue UK.

Ya salió el trailer de la nueva película de Sex and The City, no se cómo más irán a extender la historia pero pago por ver más de los outfits de Patricia Field.
The trailer for Sex and The City 2 is out! I don’t see how they can possibly expand the story any longer but I will pay my ticket to see some of the ensambles created by the talented Patricia Field.

La verdad es que el nombre de Tilda Swinton me sonó conocido, pero mo tocó recurrir a IMDB para poder ubicarla, en todo caso, para apreciar estas hermosísimas fotos basadas en la increíble Marchesa Casati que le tomó el talentoso Paolo Roversi no es necesario saber quién es ella sino simplemente saber disfrutar.

The truth is that Tilda Swanton’s name sounded a bit familiar, but I had to go to IMDB to place her, anyway, you don’t have to know who she is in order to apreciate this editorial based in the nicredible Marchesa Casati shot by Paolo Roversi, you just have to know how to enjoy good stuff.
El vestido negro o little black dress es una prenda básica que todas debemos tener, y Donna Karan lo ajusta a los días de crisis creando el Infinity Dress, un vestido negro, infinitas posibilidades de combinarlo, en la imagen se ven algunas, pero puede pensarse también en usarlo con una tshirt por debajo, blanca o en tonos piel o rosados claros, con medias gruesas y botines, o con pantalones…en fin, cada una se inventará su propia forma, yo personalmente pienso que es una genialidad del diseño.
The little black dress is a basic that every woman must have in her closet, and Donna Karan has nailed it with a «crisis adjusted» twist by creating the Infinity dress, a little black dress and infiite possiblilities to wear it, you can see some of the options in the image, but one could also use it with a tshirt under it in nude tones, or with thick leggins and booties, or with pants….literally anyway is a good way. Genious design if there’s any.
